Cold Laser

Therapeutic Laser has been used for 25 years. Low-level laser studies have been proven to be effective in many cases, but it was the Erchonia laser that made history by becoming the first low-level laser in the world to gain FDA market clearance for the treatment of back/neck and shoulder pain. The efficacy of the Erchonia Laser was established through double blind studies. This office uses the Erchonia Laser.

Soft Tissue Treatment
Dr. Servais is certified in Graston Technique (GISTM).  GISTM is an advancement in soft tissue mobilization (STM) that allows the clinician to detect and treat soft tissue dysfunctions in a precise and specific manner.

The instruments are designed to provide an adjunct to a clinician's hands, not to replace them.  In fact, developing good manual skills is crucial to the success of this Technique.

Graston

Successful outcomes cannot be achieved with the instruments alone; the instruments are just one part of an overall therapy program which includes:

  • Musculoskeletal evaluation
  • Inflammation Control
  • Soft tissue mobilization
  • Joint Mobilization
  • Stretching and Strengthening Programs
  • Neuromuscular and Posture Reeducation
  • Proprioception Activities
  • Functional Progression
  • Home Exercise Program
Dr. Servais is certified in this specialized technique and receives hundreds of patients each year from medical referrals.  In the State of Wisconsin there are only a few neurologists, physical therapists, chiropractors or physiatrists who are certified in this technique.
